This was originally a snare solo from my book “Progression" It is all about par-a-diddles, and variations on par-a-diddles. After playing it with some friends In Tokyo, they asked me to write it as an ensemble piece for their drumline. This is fun to use as a cadence as well.

Tap heights should be played at mp (2-3 inches)
Most accents should be played at f (9-12 inches)
All accents should be relative to the dynamic marking.

Remember…the key is to have fun.
